Firefox 3.1 to be bumped to Firefox 3.5. They may feel Firefox 3.1 (codename Shiretoko) has reflected only small changes from Firefox 3.0 (which is not true ).... so that the next major release would be of Firefox 3.5.

The next beta would still be labelled 3.1b3 but since the 4th beta it would be released as 3.5b4.

It seems the same thing had happened before with Firefox 1.0 --> Firefox 1.5, IIRC.
